Ingredients:
2/3 1b spare ribs, chop into pieces; 2/3 1b potatoes; 1 small onion, cut into pieces; 1 tsp minced garlic
Seasoning:
1/2 tsp salt; 2 1/2 tsp sugar; 2 tbsp tomato sauce; 1 tsp Worchestershire sauce; 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce; 1 3/4 cups water
Thickening:
1 tsp salt; 2 1/2 tsp sugar; 2 tbsp water.
Method:
1.Peel and wash potatoes. Cut into wedges and soak in water for half an hour. Drain well.
2.Wash and wipe spare ribs. Mix with 1 tsp of dark soy sauce.
3.Heat up 2 tbsp of oil in saucepan, tilt to coat with oil thoroughly. Saute potatoes until slightly golden. Dish.
4.Put onion, garlic and spare ribs in saucepan and sauté until slightly golden. Then sizzle 1/2 tbsp of wine. Add seasoning and brin to boil. Then simmer over low heat for 15 minutes .Add in potatoes. Stir well with chopsticks. Stew for further 15 minutes until spare ribs and potatoes are tender. Pour in thickening. Dish up. |
